If you send an email, documents or other information, that transmittal will not create an attorney-client relationship. Before an attorney-client relationship can be created, both you and Mr. Brody must agree to such a relationship. In additon, whatever information that you send may not be protected by the client confidentiality rules. Your sending an email may not prevent Mr. Brody from representing another party who you oppose. Do not send information about any matter (especially any confidential information) until a formal representaiton agreement has been entered into, and you have received a written engagement letter.
